Well, we found out in the last few days that Austin is afraid of a few things. First of all, I was playing with the puppet Elmo book and when Austin went to touch it, I playfully made Elmo grab Austin's fingers. He started whining and backing away from the Elmo book. I put it down and he ran to me while whining and crawled in my lap. Then, I picked it back up and just showed it to him and he started whining again and turning away from it. Finally, he threw it on the floor and ran away from it. It was really funny and kinda sad. He's traumatized by Elmo.
Then, last night when Becky and Harry were watching the kiddos, Becky picked up a little workout ball with her toes and threw it in Austin's direction. He looked at the ball and then her toes and started whining again. He backed away from her toes and ran to Harry. Then, I think she kept teasing him. I mean really, who's afraid of toes?! :)
